Program Description:

Invigorate your art practice by joining mixed media artist, art educator and graphic designer: Deidre Trudeau for 6 weeks of unique art making and exploration.  She will lead you through her favorite tried-and-true techniques for adding texture, creating layers, playing with color, transparencies and transforming a multitude of ordinary items into interesting art tools and treasures.  This series is a skill-building powerhouse that will enhance your mixed media work and open your eyes to new possibilities in your art journey.  With enthusiasm, passion and ingenuity, Deidre makes it fun and exciting to use familiar materials in unconventional ways to innovate your own style.

From drawing to representational painting, contruction, experimenting with paint densities, washes, pooling, assemblage, composition, studies in value, negative space and color–prepare for a fun, creative time at Blue Line Arts during this hands on art class in the gallery!
